Dr. Kianti Raisa Darusman

Dr. Kianti Raisa Darusman is a pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus consultant with over 15 years of clinical experience. She provides comprehensive eye care at Eka Hospital BSD and has led initiatives to promote early childhood vision health in Indonesia. In 2024, she became Co-Founder and Public Engagement Director at the Indonesia Health Development Center (IHDC), where she focuses on cross-sector collaboration in health development.

She holds a Master of Medical Science in Vision and Strabismus from the University of Sheffield and completed an international fellowship at the National University Hospital in Singapore. Her academic contributions include publications on childhood myopia, digital eye strain, and community-based screening models, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based and accessible pediatric eye care.

Dr. Darusman is an active member of several international organizations, including the World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (WSPOS), where she has served as a Connectivity Bureau Official since 2020. She also holds roles in the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), the Asia Pacific Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology Society (APSPOS), the European Pediatric Ophthalmological Society (EPOS), and the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (Perdami). Her advocacy continues through grassroots eye screenings, national campaigns, and educational initiatives aimed at improving the eye health of children.
