Prof. Dr. dr. Farid A. Moeloek

Prof. Dr. dr. Farid Anfasa Moeloek, SpOG(K) is a senior Indonesian medical doctor, academic, and former Minister of Health whose career has been marked by leadership in both national policy and regional medical cooperation. He served as Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia from 1998 to 1999 under both President Soeharto and President B. J. Habibie, and was awarded the Bintang Mahaputera Adipradana in recognition of his service to the nation.

He has held a number of prominent leadership positions in the medical profession, including President of the Medical Association of Southeast Asian Nations (MASEAN Council) from 2003 to 2006, Chair of the National Medical Examination Committee for Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates in 2004, and Director of the Postgraduate Program at Universitas Indonesia. He also served as Chairman of the Indonesian Medical Doctors Association (IDI).

A professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Farid is known for his expertise in reproductive health. He continues to serve as the Chair of the Board of Trustees to the Indonesia Health Development Center (IHDC), where he brings decades of leadership experience to the development of inclusive and ethical health systems in Indonesia.
