Prof. Dr. dr. Nila Djuwita F. Moeloek, SpM(K) is a leading Indonesian ophthalmologist and academic whose career spans decades of service in medicine, education, and public health. She served as Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia from 2014 to 2019, during which she played a key role in strengthening the national health system and expanding access to the Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN), Indonesia's national health insurance program. In recognition of her service, she was awarded the Bintang Mahaputera Adipradana, one of Indonesia's highest civilian honors.

Prior to her ministerial appointment, she served as the President's Special Envoy for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). She has also chaired multiple organizations, including Dharma Wanita Persatuan, the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (PERDAMI), and the Indonesian Cancer Foundation. She is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, where she has educated generations of medical and public health professionals.

Her longstanding commitment to public health advocacy continues through her role as Founder and Chair of the Board of Advisors at the Indonesia Health Development Center (IHDC), where she supports efforts to promote inclusive, evidence-based, and intergenerational approaches to health development.
