Profile
Introduction to IHDC
The Indonesia Health Development Center (IHDC) is a think tank dedicated to advancing health development through research, policy advocacy, education, health system strengthening, and the empowerment of communities.
IHDC approaches health not merely as a clinical matter, but as a shared national priority shaped by social, economic, environmental, legal, cultural, and technological factors. It promotes a multisectoral perspective that recognizes the role of diverse disciplines in building inclusive and sustainable health outcomes.
The institution originated from a national dialogue platform called Fokus Kesehatan Indonesia, which began by examining the root causes of stunting in Indonesia. The insights and momentum from that forum laid the foundation for a more structured, sustainable institution addressing broader health development through multisectoral collaboration and inclusive engagement.
Mission
To advance inclusive, knowledge-informed, and multisectoral health development by connecting research, policy advocacy, and community-driven action.
Vision
To build a healthy, prosperous, and empowered nation through quality, inclusive, and sustainable health development.
Commitment
IHDC was formally founded by:

Prof. Nila F. Moeloek
Health Minister of the Republic of Indonesia (2014–2019)

Dr. Ray Wagiu Basrowi
Founder of Health Collaborative Center (HCC)
